We finally closed on the house! Yay! The process was anything but easy. I'm just so glad to have that behind us. Now the real work begins! We will pack up our current home over the next two days and head to the beautiful farm.
First on the agenda is a new roof and some siding repair work. The roof is original to the house, metal tin shingles....wow! I can't wait to repurpose those inside the house!! Then we will have it painted white. Right now it is a very light gray. We also have to have the septic pumped, sounds fun. The house is an absolute mess on the inside. First on inside will be BATHROOMS!! There are 2 1/2 bathrooms, 2 of which are back to back upstairs, with the half bath in the kitchen of all places! We will add at least 3 full bathrooms and a newly located half bath.
We are super excited to get there and get started! Stay tuned for some before pictures. It will not be pretty I can assure you. :)
